Beauty Buzz Trial - Devacurl

Hey Beauty Bees,

Do you have curly hair and are looking for some products just for you? I recently tried out a line from DevaCurl that are made especially for you curly haired ladies but can also be used by straight hair women like myself. Before I get started I would like to state that this review is my opinion completely on how these products worked for my hair type; they will most likely work better for curly hair who they are meant for.

"DevaCurl is one of the first hair care brands to replace harsh, damaging detergents with gentle, hydrating ingredients and botanical extracts. Today, DevaCurl offers a complete line of sulfate-, silicone- and paraben-free cleansers, conditioners and styling products that deliver healthy, naturally gorgeous, frizz free curls."

This diffuser states that it gently dry curls more naturally for beautiful long-lasting volume and maximum curl definition. It dries them from the inside and out for soft, frizz free curls while adding volume. It stated that it fits most commercially available hair dryers, but unfortunately it did not fit mine so I was not able to test it out. This actually bummed me out because I thought it was such an interesting product and my hair takes forever to blow dry so maybe it would less time with it. I have been planning on buying a new blow dryer soon so stay tuned for an in depth review on this product.
It retails for $44.95

Beauty Buzz Trial - Ipsy Bag September 2014 "Street Style"

Hey Beauty Bees,

September is here and with it comes Fall as well as a brand new Ipsy bag. If you have not heard of this monthly beauty subscription take a look at this past post for more info.

This month's theme was "Street Style". Also, this month we had the option to take a peek at our glam rooms early and of course with how impatient I am, I instantly clicked through. The sneakpeeks they showed this month had me excited for certain items, but was disappointed when I saw that not one of them was in my glam room. However, 3 out of the 5 products are brands that I have never tried or heard of before, so it was not terrible as I always love to try out new brands.

Guest Post - Establishing and Maintaining a Skincare Routine by Jessica Anna

Hey Beauty Bees,
Today I am bringing you a guest post by a fun blogger named Jessica Anna. Her blog is all about beauty and fashion and is a great read.

Skincare routines can be the trickiest things to figure out and understandably some people just give up trying to tailor one that suits them. There are a colossus amount of products out there with so many confusing names, like effaclar and miscellular, it can become rather frustrating. But from my own experience it is doable and once you get the hang of things, it does become a lot easier. So, today I'm going to share with you my top tips and tricks on establishing and maintaining an effective skincare routine that suits your skin.

Tip #1 - Know your skin type
Before even beginning to purchase any products for your routine, you need to work out what skin type you have. The worst thing to do is just buy any old product for any skin type and start using it. That's a big no no. There are 4 main skin types; Dry, Normal, Combination, and oily. Also remember that any one of these skin types can also be sensitive or acne prone too, so watch out for that. Once you know your skin type, you're ready to go; products labeled for specific skin types will lead you in the right direction towards buying correctly and not wasting your money.

OOTD Featuring Online Boutiques by T Marie Benchley

Hey Beauty Bees,

Today I am here to talk to you about the outfit I wore this past weekend for a date with my Fiance. He waited until the last minute to let me know he was taking me out for a dinner and movie date so I had very little time to put together an outfit so I decided to grab the package that Online Boutiques had sent me to review. It being an oddly hot September night, the black dress, sandals and purse were the perfect choice. Being in a huge rush that night I was not able to take pictures of me in the outfit, but the next day I took a few item shots.

Beauty Buzz Trials - Batiste Dry Shampoo

Hey Beauty Bees,

Who else wakes up in the morning either late or just does not want to get out of bed? With the invention of dry shampoo women around the world have shaved off about 30 mins of washing, blow drying and using hot tools on there hair from there daily morning routines. This now gives you extra time for breakfast, doing your makeup, getting to school or work on time or just sleeping those extra minutes away.

Every hair product brand you can think of has their own dry shampoo coming in different scents and bottles along with every other type of hair product they create. Today I will be talking about a brand that focuses on ONLY dry shampoo and let me tell you, they know what they are doing.

My Beauty Wishlist

Hey Beauty Bees,

Have you ever spent late nights browsing the internet for new beauty products or testing out products at stores multiple times while trying to justify buying it? I have done it way too many times, so I thought I would compile a list of items that I have been crooning over for the past couple months so you could see what products I am hoping to get in the future. Who knows, maybe next week I will be doing a beauty haul with all of these products.....oh wait this isn't a dream. oh well :(.

(Included with each product is the price and link on where to buy them in case anyone is interested in more info or purchasing any of the items)

Beauty Buzz Trials - Petunia Skincare

Hey Beauty Bees,

Today I am here to talk to you about a brand I recently came upon called Petunia Skincare. They are a company that make products in the USA, that are proven to correct signs of aging, protect healthy skin, and prevent future damage from occurring. There products can be bought on Amazon.

I will admit I was a little bit skeptical trying out these products since they are serums and I am not too fond of using products like these because I have oily skin and I have noticed every time I use serums, they break me out. I usually stay away from skincare products that aren't oil free or do not use mostly organic/natural ingredients. Also, these certain products were not of need for my skin type and skin problems so I decided to give them to a friend of mine who would have better use of them and asked for her to report back to me on what she thought.

How to Wear Leather Shorts in Fall

Hey Beauty Bees,

Recently, I got sent these awesome leather shorts from an online retailer called OASAP. They ship worldwide and considering the distance it has to go to get to your door, they are extremely fast. The clothing they sell are of amazing quality especially the shorts I received. They are a very sturdy material while still being very stretchy and comfy. The price for these shorts are only $9.99, making this website very easy on the wallet for such good quality clothing.

I have never owned a pair of leather shorts before and I was super excited to be able to integrate them into my style. Since Summer is nearing an end and I wanted to make use of them before the Winter, I needed to think of ways that I could style them for the Fall. While doing some online shopping I found that different websites gave me different styles on what to pair them with. Here are some of the websites and supplementing pieces I found that worked into my own style and hopefully will give you some ideas as well.
