A Day in the Life of a Beauty Bee - My First Red Sox Game

Fenway Park scoreboard opener
Hey Beauty Bees,

Last Thursday I got to experience a first for me - a Boston Red Sox Game. This was actually my first ever MLB game and I had been looking forward to it for 2 months now. Chris and I actually have season tickets for this year to the Red Sox, so this may have been my first but will definitely not my last game.

Beauty Buzz Trial - The Boodle Box

subscription box, boodle box
Hey Beauty Bees,

I just got introduced to a really cool subscription box for all young or old fashionistas. The Boodle Box is a monthly box full of adorable accessories and beauty products. They select the latest products from some of the top manufacturers in the beauty and fashion industries. They source their samples from trendy designers, well-known brands, and as-yet undiscovered gems. What I found really cool about this box is that you can chose between two different age groups: 6-11 & 12+. The multiple plans are also great to choose from:

Natick Mall Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Haul

natick mall, fashion haul
Hey Beauty Bees,

I find nothing more relaxing and therapeutic then being able to walk through a mall and visit all my favorite stores. It is so exciting to see all the new styles and trends inviting you at the entrances and then going on adventures in the clearance sections for a great deal. I have visited many different malls back in Canada and now in the States but I think I have finally found my favorite mall, which I have done multiple hauls from before:

Natick Mall Haul
Columbus Day Haul
22nd Birthday Haul
Spring 2015 Beauty Collective Haul

Natick Mall is my favorite since it has a wide selection of stores. One side of the mall has high fashion designers like Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors where as the other side has more commonly shopped at places like American Eagle, Charlotte Russe and Victoria Secret. It also is anchored by the many great department stores like Neiman Marcus,  Macys, Lord and Taylor and Nordstrom.

It is a great place for an afternoon of shopping and you are guaranteed to find whatever you heart desires here. On this particular shopping trip (which lasted almost 7 hours!!) I had many specific items that I was looking for which will be shown in other posts coming up in the next few weeks. Beyond those specific purchases I found many other pieces to fill my closet with for the the Spring and upcoming Summer season.

Here are all the "extra" items I purchased.

The Blogging Rut

Hey Beauty Bees,

As you may have noticed in the last two weeks I have been majorly slacking with my blogging schedule. I usually post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Even though I majorly regretted doing it, I had to skip on a few days and did not have the time to come up with and create an interesting post for today.

I am officially diagnosing myself with a bloggers rut. I have been having a hard time making the time to sit down and get some writing done. Even when I do find a snippet of time to blog, my brain decides it is too tired or distracted to come up with something. I have caught myself multiple times just staring blankly at my laptop.

It has been a super busy few weeks of travelling, planning and shopping, especially with the wedding coming up next week. I can almost guarantee that next week will not be a full set of posts either. The following week I should be back to normal and hope to bring even better posts for your guys. You can look forward to fashion and beauty hauls, a few reviews and many Spring/Summer inspired posts.

I also wanted to let all other bloggers know that you should never put immense pressure on yourself to post whenever your schedule says you should. You need to remember that you are the director of that production and you make the rules. We put these goals on ourselves to get content out on certain timelines but sometimes life gets in the way a.k.a work, school, family life and just personal reasons.

Spring 2015 Collective Beauty Haul

Hey Beauty Bees,

It has been a while since I have done a beauty haul and I have collected quite a bit of new products over the last few weeks. There are many different ways I have obtained these items. Some I bought while shopping at Natick Mall (stay tuned for a huge fashion haul soon), some I ordered online and some are samples I was sent to try out.

This is going to be strictly a haul post as I have not tried out any of the products yet. If you are interested in me doing a review on any of the following items, let me know in the comments and I will make sure to give that product its own review post in the upcoming future. Also feel free to let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you think of it.

Creative Ideas for Something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue

Hey Beauty Bees,

The big day is coming up fast for my Fiance and I. Two weeks from today, May 15th 2015, we will be saying our "I Do's". With the dress chosen and how I want my hair and makeup to be done picked out, just minor details are left to be planned out.

I almost totally forgot about the famous bridal rhyme describing the four "somethings" all brides need for their big day.

"Something old,
something new,
something borrowed,
something blue,
and a silver sixpence in her shoe."

With a little bit of research I found out what each line of the rhyme meant for the bride as well as thought of some creative ways to add each "something" when getting ready for your wedding day.
